Tri-County Animal Rescue, a 100% no kill, nonprofit 501(c)3 animal shelter based in Boca Raton recently rescued over two dozen dogs from a hoarding case in Miami. According to officials from Miami-Dade Animal Services, where 99 dogs and 5 cats were “victims of neglect and rescued from inhumane conditions from a property in South Miami-Dade.”
The dogs are small to medium size Shih Tzu, Basset Hound and terrier mixes. Most of the dogs had matted and irritated skin, also resulting in hair loss. Tri-county is now providing medical attention housing and will assess the dogs for adoption.
In the meantime, the dogs are being brought back to health and are starting to have fun frolicking on the grounds of the Tri-County rescue. With the help of their supporters, the dogs are receiving lots of TLC, even sporting hand-crocheted sweaters made especially for them by local volunteers.
Investments Limited is proud to support Tri County’s initiatives and invites businesses and compassion residents to support this important cause. The rescue is asking for blankets, sheets and towels. You can also donate here.
